Carolina Reaper
€4,65 – €16,85
Description
The Carolina Reaper is the hottest pepper in the world! In addition to the very hot taste, this chilli is also recognizable by its fruity taste. The pepper has been number 1 since it was declared the hottest pepper in 2013 by the Guinness World Records. The chilli is cultivated by the American grower Ed Currie and is the most wanted, super hot pepper of the moment. The same grower stated that he developed a Pepper X that is twice as hot as the Carolina Reaper. But the Guinness World Records and other official don’t confirm this so far. That’s why the Carolina Reaper is still officially the hottest pepper.
Warning: Be careful when preparing and eating this super hot chilli.

It is best to store the fresh chillies in the refrigerator or in a cool dark place in a pantry, cellar cabinet, barn etc. The ideal temperature is between 10 °C and 13 °C, then the chillies stay the longest good, about 7 to 14 days. It is also possible to freeze the chillies, then you always have a supply of peppers. Click here for more information about freezing chillies.

They arrived without any damage, some of them wore a few days past they’re ripe optimal but all looked fine. The heat from these peppers is extreme, really hard to breathe in the same room you cut them, take caution.
Will order again.
