The Witpunt pepper is a pointed pepper with a slight bite and a somewhat bitter taste. It's super tasty in a salad, for example! This pepper is widely used in Hungarian and Turkish cuisine and is also known as Hungarian wax pepper.
This pepper starts out white/light green. If you leave it on the plant longer, it'll turn red, but it's actually tastiest when unripe, which is why we harvest it when it's still white/green. It looks a lot like the Banana Wax pepper, but this one is a different, sweeter, and milder version of the Hungarian white-tipped pepper.
