You can order the fresh Lemon Habanero chillies in our webshop, but they might not be in stock. This is because we have to wait for new arrivals from our growers abroad or we have to wait until we can harvest in our own greenhouses. This is a variety/species that always develops fruits late and is therefore sometimes less available than other peppers in our assortment. But fortunately we are well prepared for that, because we have all kinds of products with which you can replace this pepper well!

Habanero / Adjuma

The pepper that is most similar in spiciness and flavour is the Habanero / Adjuma. The yellow Adjuma is sometimes confused with the Lemon Habanero. The two types of chilli are very similar, but the difference is that the yellow Adjuma is slightly spicier than the Lemon Habanero. And the Lemon Habanero has a more fruity taste and strong citrus-like aroma. Click here to order the Habanero chillies.

Dried Lemon Habanero

We dry the fresh Lemon Habanero in our own drying cell. The dried Lemon Habanero is even slightly spicier and sweeter than the fresh pepper. This is because during the drying process the fruit sugars are caramelised. The dried pepper can actually be added to any dish for a fruity and spicy flavour. Click here to order the dried Lemon Habanero chillies.

Madame Jeanette Flakes

The Madame Jeanette chili flakes is a ‘single origin’ product and consist of only dried and coarsely ground Madame Jeanette chillies. It contains no salt, dyes or other additives. The Madame Jeanette, also known as the Lemon Habanero, is a spicy and fruity pepper. The bright yellow pepper has a strong citrus-like smell and taste. Sprinkle the Madame Jeanette chili flakes over your dishes for a spicy and fruity twist. Click here to order the chilli flakes.

Plenty of choice if the Lemon Habanero pepper is not available!
