Mexican Salsa Verde Westlandpeppers

Here's how to make it

1
Order the Mexican Salsa Verde package with the Westlandpeppers products: 6 tomatillos, 2 Jalapeño peppers, 1 clove of garlic and 1 red onion.

2
Heat the oven to grill mode and roast the tomatillos, jalapeño, garlic and onion on a baking sheet in the oven. Do this for about 5-10 minutes, until they are blackened.

3
Puree the roasted greens in a blender or with a hand blender. Season with salt, pepper and cilantro. Leave the sauce in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend well.

Ingredients

  • salt and pepper
  • cilantro
