Description

Discover the intense heat and unmistakable flavor of the Carolina Reaper. For over a decade, the Carolina Reaper ruled the super hot world as the number one hottest chili pepper on the planet. That was until Pepper X took its spot as the world's hottest chili pepper in 2023. The Reaper was cultivated by American grower Ed Currie. This same grower also developed the Pepper X, which has now been officially crowned the world's hottest chili pepper by Guinness World Records.

Even with this shift, the Carolina Reaper remains a powerful, super-spicy pepper, loved for its immense heat and fruity aromas. It delivers an intense sensation that challenges even the most seasoned chili pepper enthusiasts. But don't let its spiciness fool you – behind the fiery heat lies a subtle fruitiness that tantalizes the taste buds and adds depth to dishes. From hot sauces to rubs and marinades, this iconic pepper is a favorite ingredient for those looking for an intense flavor experience.

Warning: Be super careful when preparing and handling this extremely hot chili pepper! We recommend wearing gloves when cutting these peppers and handling them with care to avoid skin irritation and discomfort. Are you brave enough to take on the challenge?

  2. Karim (verified owner) –

I thought it would be a nice alternative to my snack bell peppers at work. But it's a bit too spicy for me.

  3. thomas (verified owner) –

Super hot pepper! Last year, I ordered and ate a few of these peppers, and wow, were they hot! Just ordered them again to use at school for an open day, giving out small samples during biology class.

  4. Winny –

Made delicious sambal terasi goreng with these Carolina Reapers, Ghost peppers, and Spanish peppers as Christmas gifts for the family! Everything always arrives nicely packed and fast. The peppers are easy to freeze.

  5. Hans v B (verified owner) –

Deliciously fruity but extremely hot pepper. Wonderfully fresh and delivered quickly. Top quality product that I have already experienced a lot of hot enjoyment from. Compliments to Westlandpeppers!

  6. hendrysanijo (verified owner) –

As usual, well-packed and shipped quickly.
Lovely fresh, hot peppers from a place I've been ordering from for years with great experiences.

  7. Olaru Razvan –

They arrived without any damage, some of them wore a few days past they’re ripe optimal but all looked fine. The heat from these peppers is extreme, really hard to breathe in the same room you cut them, take caution.
    Will order again.
