Description

Discover the fruity flavor of the Madame Jeanette, also known as the Lemon Habanero! This bright yellow chili pepper comes all the way from South America. It brings an explosion of spicy and fruity flavors to your dishes. With its striking citrus aroma and powerful flavor profile, it's an essential ingredient in Surinamese, Antillean, and other South American cuisines. Plus, it's also made its way into many African cuisines.

This versatile chili pepper is often used to make sauces. But it can actually be added to any dish for a fruity and spicy flavor boost. Whether you want to give your favorite stew, soup, salsa, marinade, or ceviche an extra kick, the Lemon Habanero is the perfect choice for any culinary creation.

Heads up: The Madame Jeanette is closely related to the Habanero/Adjuma. It's sometimes confused with the yellow Adjuma. The two types look very similar, but the difference is that the yellow Adjuma pepper is spicier than the Madame Jeanette. And the Madame Jeanette actually has a fruitier taste and a strong citrusy scent, which is why this chili pepper is also known as the Lemon Habanero.
