At Westlandpeppers, we have developed a special variety of Rawit that is slightly coarser and larger than the traditional Bird's eye chili peppers you can find at the store. The flavor and spiciness of the peppers are the same, though.

In the summer season (April-November) this product is grown in the Netherlands in our own greenhouses. In the winter season (November-April) this product is grown in Spain & Morocco by our own growers.

Rawit is available year-round, but it remains a natural product. Therefore, it is possible that due to circumstances the product may not be available or limited at certain times.

Storage & shelf life

Store the fresh Rawit chilies in the refrigerator or a cool dark place in a pantry, basement cupboard, shed etc. Ideal temperature is between 10°C and 13°C, then the chilies will stay good the longest, about 7 to 14 days. It is also possible to freeze the peppers. Click here for more information on freezing chilies or other ways to keep them for a long time.
