Description

Trinidad Scorpion peppers are known as one of the hottest peppers in the world, with an impressive ranking on the Scoville scale. Although it held the number 1 spot for a short time, it was quickly surpassed by the Carolina Reaper and, more recently, by the Pepper X. The chili originates from Trinidad and Tobago and gets its name from its characteristic pointed tip, which resembles a scorpion.

With its intense heat and fruity flavor, the Trinidad Scorpion has become a favorite among lovers of extremely hot peppers.
Despite its impressive heat, the Trinidad Scorpion has a surprisingly fruity aroma with subtle notes of tropical fruit. Don’t be fooled, though: with an average heat level of 1,200,000 to 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), this chili is among the hottest in the world. Even a small amount is enough to give a dish a powerful, long-lasting heat.

Chili peppers are ideal for making sauces, chili oil, spicy marinades, and salsas.

Warning: Be careful when preparing and handling this extremely hot chili pepper! It is recommended that you wear gloves when cutting the peppers and handle them with care to prevent skin irritation and discomfort. Are you up for the challenge?
