Jalapeño chili powder is a "single origin" powder and consists of only dried and ground Jalapeño peppers. It contains no dyes or other additives. The Jalapeño is a mildly spicy pepper used in many Mexican dishes. The Jalapeño is named after the Mexican city of Xalapa. The pepper is widely used in salsas, guacamole, tacos, tortillas and chili con carne. The dried, green, Jalapeño peppers are ground into a fine Jalapeño chili powder, and this can be added to any dish as is.

Store in the provided jar in a spice drawer or pantry.
See packaging for THT date. After the THT date, the quality of the product may deteriorate, but it usually still tastes good. Look, smell and taste after the date to see if it still tastes good.
In the summer season (April-November) the green Jalapeño peppers are grown in the Netherlands in our own greenhouses. In the winter season (November-April) they are grown in Spain & Morocco by our own growers.
The peppers are dried at our location in 's-Gravenzande in a special drying cell. After drying, the peppers are ground into a powder. We do this mainly when we have enough of the chilies in stock. Therefore, this product may not be available for a longer period of time.
