Description

The Corno di Toro is a pointed pepper. The bell pepper comes originally from Italy. ‘Corno di Toro’ is Italian for ‘Horn of a bull’, and refers to the long shape and curvature of this sweet pointed pepper. The Corno di Toro is a thin-walled pepper, which makes it very suitable for grilling and filling. It is also a delicious to add in a salad, but like a bell pepper, it can be used for all sorts of dishes.

Delicious when stuffed with feta and oregano and then grilled in the oven or on the BBQ.

It is best to store the bell peppers in a cool place in a scullery, basement cupboard, barn, etc. The ideal temperature is between 12°C and 15°C. Then they will last the longest, around 7 days.

This product is grown in our greenhouses in the Netherlands and is available from March to November. This product is not available from November to March as it is not grown at our growers in Spain, Israel & Morocco.
