With a medium spiciness, the Aji Amarillo is a versatile pepper that offers the perfect balance of flavor and spiciness. Its fruity aromas, reminiscent of a peach, add unparalleled depth to dishes such as ceviche, salsa verde and various sauces.
Amarillo is the Spanish word for yellow, yet the chili pepper is really orange in color. This is because the Aji Amarillo Paste, which is made from the fruity orange chile, is yellow in color.
