The Ñora pepper rub is a spice mix of ground dried Spanish Ñora peppers and salt. The Dried chile Ñora is a small round red pepper with a sweet and rich taste, which is closely related to peppers. The dark red pepper gives flavour to many traditional Spanish dishes and is an essential ingredient in a Romesco sauce, Chorizo sausage, paella and various tapas dishes and sauces. The dried chile Ñoras are used to make a smoked sweet paprika powder (pimientón), this Ñora Pepper Rub is a Westlandpeppers version of the Pimientón. This herbal mix/paprika powder is not comparable with the paprika powder you can find in the supermarket. The Ñora pepper provides a deep smoky taste and by adding salt the result is a spicy, smoky spice mix. Use this rub to flavour your dishes and for example give your BBQ meat a Spanish twist.
