The Mi Casa Peru box consists of:
- The 'Mi Casa Peru' cookbook by Katinka Lansink Dodero (optional)
- Aji Amarillo Paste
- 100g dried Aji Amarillo / Aji Mirasol
- 50g Aji Panca
The book contains 80 recipes from Peruvian cuisine (some of which are old family recipes) and you will also find background stories, information about the origin of products and tips for creating the taste of Peru in your own kitchen with Dutch products! Like the Aji Amarillo Paste, the dried Aji Mirasol and Aji Panca that are included in this package. The Aji Amarillo Paste was created in collaboration with Katinka and the recipe was developed by her and Bram Kloosterman, of Westlandpeppers. Together they have mastered the recipe with perfect taste and long shelf life without preservatives. You will need the Aji Amarillo Paste, Aji Mirasol & Aji Panca when making some of the recipes in the book.
With this package, you can get started right away to easily prepare the book's colorful dishes, comfort foods and cocktails at home. - To keep dried chilies good for a long time, store them in an airtight container in the pantry or even better, in the freezer. Avoid exposure to air, moisture, light and heat; this can cause the dried chilies to discolor, mold and reduce their flavor. Dried chilies have a long shelf life, but for optimal flavor and spiciness, store them no longer than a year. Click here for more information on storing and freezing dried chili peppers.
- Keep the Aji Amarillo Paste cool, dark and dry. For example, in the basement or a cool pantry. After opening, store in the refrigerator. See THT date on the label of the jar. Limited shelf life after opening. We recommend 4 weeks, but can be longer if it still looks, smells and tastes good.
