Description

Our Jalapeño chili powder is a 'single origin' powder, meaning it's just dried and ground Jalapeño peppers – no colorings or other stuff added. The Jalapeño is a mildly spicy pepper that's super popular in lots of Mexican dishes. It even gets its name from the Mexican city of Xalapa! You'll find this pepper used a lot in salsas, guacamole, tacos, tortillas, and chili con carne. We've ground these dried, green Jalapeño peppers into a fine powder, so you can easily sprinkle it into any dish.

Store in the provided jar in a spice drawer or pantry.

See packaging for best-before date. After the best-before date, the product's quality might decline, but it usually still tastes good. After the date, check, smell, and taste to see if it's still good.

From April to November, our green Jalapeño peppers are grown right here in the Netherlands, in our very own greenhouses. Then, from November to April, our growers in Spain & Morocco take over.

We dry our peppers at our ‘s-Gravenzande location in a special drying cell. After drying, the peppers are ground into a powder. We usually do this when we have plenty of peppers in stock, so this product might not be available for a while sometimes.
