Chili con carne package WSDP

Chili con carne. Many then think of a dish of brown beans in a meat sauce, a favorite at school camp and youth hostel. But the guys from What Cooks The Podcast went looking for the origins of Chili con carne and came up with a very different dish. The Texas Chili is a deep, smoky, layered beef stew. The dish contains several dried chilies, all of which we carry in our assortment.

Hence the question from Wat Schaft De Podcast, if we could not make a package of this. We liked that idea and so listeners can now order a complete package with the dried and fresh pepper. So that listeners can order a complete package to make the Texas Chili Con Carne at home.

In the package is a mix of different peppers to make the Texas Chili con carne, following the recipe from What Cooks The Podcast! It also includes a description of the recipe for one serving: for 4-6 people. For that, use half the peppers in the package. Click here to listen to the podcast and view the recipe. Click here to order the package!

The Chili Con Carne package contains:
- Ancho - 100g (mildly spicy, dark brown in color with a fruity smoky flavor)
- Guajillo - 50g (mildly spicy, fruity flavor, tending toward berries and green tea)
- Pasilla - 50g (mildly spicy, smoky, earthy with a hint of cocoa)
- Smoked Chipotle - 50g (spicy, sweet with a smoky flavor)
- Red Habanero - 1 piece (very spicy, with fruity tropical flavor)
