Tostadas are toasted corn tortillas you can load up with the tastiest toppings! Each tostada is made the traditional Mexican way by Taiyari. They nixtamalize organic and non-GMO corn for this, grinding it with volcanic stones into fresh dough. This dough is used to make the tortilla, and this corn tortilla is then hand-baked in the oven. Unlike other tortillas on the market, Taiyari doesn't use flour or cornmeal. This gives the corn tortilla, and therefore the tostadas, a better taste and texture. This process also helps them keep the natural nutrients found in corn. Since 2016, Tortilleria Taiyari has been the first authentic Mexican tortilla bakery in the Netherlands and Belgium, and you can order their tostadas from us.
We pack this product carefully, but it's always possible some tostadas might break during production or transport. Please keep this in mind.

These tostadas are gluten-free & vegan, and they don't contain any preservatives or additives. They'll keep for up to 2 months, but once opened, we recommend eating them as soon as possible, within about 2 to 4 days.
For all their products, Taiyari uses certified organic and non-GMO corn, and it's sustainably produced in the Netherlands using traditional Mexican methods.
