Tostadas are roasted corn tortillas that you can make with the tastiest toppings! Each tostada is crafted in the traditional Mexican way by Taiyari. They nixtamalize organic and non-gmo corn and grind it with volcanic stones into a fresh dough. With this dough, the tortilla is made and this tortilla is baked by hand in the oven. Unlike the other tortillas on the market, Taiyari does not use flour or cornflour. This ensures that the tortilla and therefore the tostadas have a better taste and structure. This process also preserves the natural nutrients that the corn contains. Tortilleria Taiyari has been the first authentic Mexican tortilla bakery in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2016 and the crispy tortillas can be ordered from Westlandpeppers.
The tostadas are carefully packed, but it is always possible that some tostadas break during making or transport. Please take this into account.
