Smokey Morita Sauce is a smoky, flavourful and spicy sauce with the thickness of a tabasco, ideal for tacos. The sauce owes its delicious taste to the Chipotle Morita pepper. The Morita, like the Chipotle pepper, is a dried and smoked red Jalapeño pepper. The difference between the two peppers is that the Morita pepper was smoked for a shorter period of time, making it softer and fruitier in flavour. The result is a spicy, fruity and slightly smoky sauce, which gets an extra deep flavour from the addition of cumin seeds. It gives a kick to all your Mexican dishes and is irresistible on tacos, tortas, on top of eggs and so many other dishes.
