Making your own sambal is with this sambal package very fun and easy. This is a package with all the fresh ingredients to make sambal at home. Sambal is an Indonesian spicy sauce made from ground peppers. Sambal can be added to any dish and there are many different variations. We have two different packages for red or yellow sambal. The package contains 2 different varieties of chillies. The red sambal contains Rawit and Spanish red chillies and the yellow sambal contains Madame Jeanette and yellow Spanish chillies. Red sambal package:
– 250gr Spanish red chillies
– 3 rawit chillies
– 2 solo garlic

Yellow sambal package:
– 250gr Spanish yellow chillies
– 3 Lemon habaneros
– 2 solo garlic

It is best to store the fresh chillies in the refrigerator or in a cool dark place in a pantry, cellar cabinet, barn etc. The ideal temperature is between 10 °C and 13 °C, then the chillies stay the longest good, about 7 to 14 days. It is also possible to freeze the chillies, then you always have a supply of peppers. Click here for more information about freezing chillies.

In the summer season (May-November) the fresh peppers are grown in the Netherlands in our own greenhouses. In the winter season (November-March) the fresh peppers are grown in Spain, Israel & Morocco by our own growers.
