Ingredients Westlandpeppers

8 Jalapeño peppers


100 g cream cheese

50 g feta

1 tsp milk

little bit of cumin

2 eggs

50 g flour

50 g bread-crumbs

sunflower oil or a frying pan


1Order the Jalapeño popper pack with 8 big jalapeños. You can find this package in the Ready to cook category! Wash the Jalapeños and make a cut in the Jalapeño peppers and remove the seeds with a corer, knife or a small spoon.

2Stir the cream cheese with the feta, milk and cumin until it's mixed. Fill the Jalapeño peppers with the cream cheese mixture. The easiest way to do this is with your fingers.

3Make 3 plates, one with flour, one with a beaten egg and one with bread-crumbs. First take the stuffed Jalapeño peppers through the flour, then through the beaten egg and then through the bread-crumbs. If you want an extra crusty crust, take them through the beaten egg and bread-crumbs again.

4Heat the oil in a pan, a small layer is enough because you also can turn the Jalapeño peppers around. If you put the Jalapeño peppers in the oil and it starts to fizz, it is good. Fry the peppers in about 3 to 4 minutes crispy and brown. If you have a frying pan use that. Heat the frying pan to 180 degrees and fry the peppers in about 3 to 4 minutes crispy and brown.
