Homemade chilli sauce with fresh pepper and sweet snack peppers. With this recipe, you can make 250 ml sweet chili sauce, without added sugars!
1Order the Chilisaus package with all Westlandpeppers products.
2Cut the chili and snack peppers into slices and chop the garlic finely. Combine the olive oil, chili, snack peppers and garlic and heat it in a pan.
3When the garlic turns gold add the water, vinegar, cornstarch and salt and let it boil for slowly for 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a food processor and blend shortly. Taste and if necessary add more salt.
4Cool the sauce down a few minutes before putting it in the bottle. Take a funnel and fill the sauce in the enclosed bottle.
5Finally you put the bottle of sauce in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Put the lable with the durability date on the bottle and your homemade chili sauce is ready to use!
The chili sauce has a shelf life of 3 weeks, store in the refrigerator.
