This is how you make it

Wash the Pimientos de Padron chillies and drain them.

Heat a pan with olive oil and let it heat up well. Add the Pimientos de Padron to the pan and fry over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, until the peppers blacken and shrivel. Finish with sea salt to taste. Also delicious on the BBQ!

Tip

Can also be prepared in the oven. Preheat the oven at 175 degrees. Sprinkle the Pimientos de Padron with olive oil and bake them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The peppers are ready when they are soft with a bit of a brown colour. Finish off with sea salt to taste.
