The Habanada is the Habanero without spiciness, with an irresistible tropical sweet taste. The name of the pepper says it all, nada spiciness. The habanada scores 0 on the scoville scale, but has the well-known Habanero aromas. Ideal if you want to cook with the tropical flavors of a habanero but without the spiciness. Westlandpeppers is the only company in the Netherlands that grows & sells the Habanada pepper! Because the habanada is still developing, it is possible that there is a more spicy Habanada in between. The small pack of 150gr Habanada is placed in a grill dish with oil and salt.
It is best to store the Habanda peppers in the fridge or in a cool, dark place in a utility room, cellar cupboard, shed, etc. The ideal temperature is between 10°C and 13°C. Then the peppers will last the longest, around 7 to 14 days. If you cannot use everything fresh immediately, freeze the peppers, then you always have a supply of peppers. Country of origin
In the summer season (April-November) this product is grown in the Netherlands in our own greenhouses. In the winter season (November-April) this product is grown in Spain, Israel and Morocco by our own growers. The red Habanada is only cultivated in our Dutch greenhouses, so from november till April this product is not available.
