The fresh curry leaves, also known as sweet neem leaves or karuveppilai, originally come from curry trees from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The leaves are widely used in the Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. These can be used as a seasoning and added to a dish. If the leaves have already become harder, you can cut the leaves into thin strips and take them out before eating. If you cannot process all the curry leaves fresh, you can also freeze them or dry them on a piece of paper (place this in a dry and warm place).
You can order the Curry leaves per 10 or 500 gram. This product is sold in a paper package in which the curry leaves can still ‘breathe’, so it stays optimally fresh.
