    The fresh curry leaves, also known as sweet neem leaves or karuveppilai, originally come from curry trees from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The leaves are widely used in the Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine. These can be used as a seasoning and added to a dish. If the leaves have already become harder, you can cut the leaves into thin strips and take them out before eating. If you cannot process all the curry leaves fresh, you can also freeze them or dry them on a piece of paper (place this in a dry and warm place). You can order the Curry leaves per 10 or 500 gram. This product is sold in a paper package in which the curry leaves can still 'breathe', so it stays optimally fresh.

    The Al Pastor seasoning mix is a special rub to make Al Pastor. The dish Al Pastor finds its origin in Mexico City, where it was brought by migrants from Lebanon and the Middle East. Al Pastor is a tortilla/taco filled with beef stew flavoured with this seasoning mix, pineapple, onion, coriander and lime. The taste of this delicious seasoning mix can be compared to shawarma spices. This is because Lebanese immigrants took the recipe for their shawarma to Mexico, the pita bread was replaced by tortillas and it was given a Mexican touch and that is how this dish was created. The Al Pastor seasoning consists of a mix of different herbs and can be used to flavour any dish/meat. The Al Pastor seasoning mix can be ordered per 30 gram.     Hoja Santa, Pepper leaf, Acuyo, Anisillo, Mexican Pepperleaf, Sacred pepper, Root beer Plant, these are all names for this very special product. Hoja Santa is a leaf that's widely used in the Latin-American kitchen. It's complex in taste and can have a diameter of 30cm. The flavours eucalyptus, anise, mint, nutmeg and tarragon can all be found in the fresh Hoja Santa. The leaf is perfect to make Tamales or Mole Verde with, but it can also be used as a spice to any dish. The product is sold per 2 leaves in a plastic bag with a small amount of water. This keeps the leaves strong during transport and maintains its distinctive flavour. If you can't use them fresh immediately, you can store the leaves in the refrigerator for another 5 days. You can also dry the leaf. This product is new at Westlandpepperss and therefore still under development, so it is possible that the leaf contains (small) holes.
