The fresh Moringa leaves come from the Moringa Oleifera tree. The leaves of the tree are known as ‘superfood’ because of their high nutritional and medicinal value. The leaves are full with vitamins, calcium, protein, iron, potassium and beta-carotene. As a result, the tree is also called ‘miracle tree’ because of its many health and healing benefits. The Moringa can be eaten raw, cooked, dried and processed in meals. For example, make a detox juice, diet juice, healthy tea or food enriching meal.

It is best to store the fresh herbs in the fridge. Wash the leaves with cold water and wrap them in a few sheets of paper towel or a sandwich bag. Store this in the vegetable drawer of your fridge. This way the herbs stay good the longest, about 1 week. It is also possible to freeze or dry the leaves. Click here for more information.

This product is grown in our greenhouses in the Netherlands and is available from April to November. This product is not available from November to April because it is not grown at our growers in Spain, Israel & Morocco.
