The Kashmiri chili powder is a ‘single origin’ powder and consists of dried ground Kashmiri chillies. It contains no dyes or other additives. The Kashmiri chile powder has a deep red colour and is mildly spicy with a slightly smoky taste. The chilli powder is delicious in many Asian dishes and gives a dish a beautiful red colour. The pepper owes its name to the Kashmiri area in Asia, where this pepper originally comes from. It is the perfect chilli powder for someone who does not like very spicy but would like to add a little spice to their Indian dishes. A typical Indian dish you can make with the Kashmiri powder is chicken Tikka Masala. But the chilli powder is also very tasty in curries, vegetable dishes, tomato sauce, soups and stews.
