The Habanero chili flakes is a ‘single origin’ product and consist of only dried and coarsely ground yellow habanero chillies. It contains no dyes or other additives. The Habanero, in the Netherlands also known as the Adjuma, is a spicy chilli. The Habanero has a tropical, fruity but also very hot taste which makes it a pepper that can be used in many dishes. ‘Habanero’ is Spanish for ‘from Havana’ and originates from Central America and the Caribbean. Sprinkle the Habanero chili flakes over your dishes for a spicy and fruity twist.

In the summer season (May-November) the habanero peppers are grown in the Netherlands in our own greenhouses. In the winter season (November-April) they are grown in Israel & Morocco by our own growers.

The chillies are dried in a special ventilated / drying room at our location in ‘s-Gravenzande. After drying, the chillies are ground into flakes. We do this when we have enough of the chillies in stock. It is therefore possible that this product is not available for a longer period of time.
