Store the fresh Aji chili peppers in the refrigerator or a cool dark place in a pantry, basement closet, shed, etc. Ideal temperature is between 10°C and 13°C, then the peppers will stay good the longest, about 7 to 14 days. It is also possible to freeze the peppers. Click here for more information on freezing chilies or other ways to keep them for a long time.

In the winter season (December-April), this product is grown in Spain by our own growers. In the summer season we do not grow this product and it is not available.

    Addition to review, because accidentally clicked 'send' too soon: The taste is fantastic; I fermented them, with a few cloves of garlic, for over a month to make sauce and it turned out incredibly delicious. Spicier than expected, but you get used to everything, shall we say!

    I don't know if I would describe the heat as "mild" ... I really did find them spicier than jalapeños, but a little less sharp than madame Jeanettes. 20,000 to 50,000 Scoville approximately?
