Description

The Aji Limo is a spicy pepper from Peru. The pepper owes its name to the region of Lima, where it originally comes from. The citrus-like, fruity and sour taste of the pepper goes well with seafood, like fish or shrimp and is therefore often used to flavour Ceviche, the national dish of Peru. It also goes well with other Peruvian dishes such as spicy chicken, lomo saltado (marinated beef) and carapulcra (a meat and vegetable stew).

It is also possible to freeze the chillies, then you always have a supply of peppers. Click here for more information on freezing peppers or other ways to preserve them for a long time.
